From the sweeping red landscapes of the Pilbara to the quiet wonder of a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis, my life has always revolved around wildlife. Growing up, I was completely captivated by the beauty of nature — from massive ant mounds to the slithering snakes of the desert. That childhood fascination sparked a lifelong dedication to native creatures, with a very special place in my heart for reptiles.
Before long, that passion turned into purpose. I volunteered for many years at a wildlife centre as a specialized treatment officer, gaining hands-on rehabilitation experience. Beyond my volunteer work, I have spent decades working closely with an incredible variety of animal species, including operating as a licensed reptile relocator to help save and protect local wildlife. Through these years of diverse experience, I have successfully bred hundreds of butterflies, minibeasts, and reptiles, developing a deep, respectful understanding of their unique worlds.
Butterflies, in particular, helped pull me through some of the hardest times in my own life. Because of that profound personal experience, my heart truly lies with our memorial and funeral releases — helping others find a moment of peace and hope when they need it most. Today, whether we are bringing high-energy wonder to a school or sharing a quiet tribute at a service, our mission remains the same: to share the magic, healing, and beauty of Australian wildlife with people of all ages.
